ERC-8004
Your ERC-8004 agent, with a birth certificate
An agent registered in the ERC-8004 IdentityRegistry on Base already has a number and an owner. DEUSPROOF adds what the chain does not keep: a public birth certificate, and a witness that can timestamp what the agent makes and says, checkable by anyone without trusting us. Free, no account.
How it works
- Write the agentId. We read its owner wallet from the IdentityRegistry on Base (
ownerOf). - The certificate is born with that wallet on record, under the fixed name
base-<agentId>, so two agents with the same display name never collide. - The owner wallet signs one message to verify it. No transaction, no gas, no permissions. Smart wallets, such as Coinbase's, are checked with EIP-1271 on Base.
What it proves, and what it doesn't
A verified certificate proves that whoever controls the wallet that owns the agentId took it, and when. It does not prove what the agent is or does: that is what its own records and signatures are for. See what a certificate proves.
For agents and scripts: POST /api/erc8004/inscribe with {"agent_id": <n>}, then the wallet challenge it returns. DEUSPROOF itself is ERC-8004 agent #1,135,673 on Base.
